Migrar cuentas de correo de POP3 e IMAP de un Linux a un Solaris 10

  • Software a necesario para utilizar POP3 (Solaris 10 x86)

  • Crear los Servicios
# cat /etc/services

# cat /etc/inetd.conf

  • Convertir el INETD.CONF a XML
# inetconv
pop-2 -> /var/svc/manifest/network/pop-2-tcp.xml

  • Habilitar la consulta de usr y psw en cleartext
# cat /etc/c-client.cf
set disable-plaintext nil 
  • Pasar a MD5 la autenticacion de SOLARIS para compatibilidad con LINUX
# vi /etc/security/policy.conf
#CRYPT_DEFAULT=__unix__
CRYPT_DEFAULT=md5
  • Agregar usuarios, passwords y grupos
# cat /etc/passwd
[VER INFORMACION EN EL SERVER]

# cat /etc/shadow
[VER INFORMACION EN EL SERVER]

# cat /etc/group

  • Crear home de usuarios en /export/home/[USUARIO]

  • Cambiar permisos en los HOME
# cd /export/home/

  • Compilación de SENDMAIL

  • Crear el access.db

  • Compilar el archivo access en formato Berckley

# makemap hash /etc/mail/virtusertable.db < /etc/mail/virtusertable

  • Modificar el SMARTHOST de SENDMAIL (MACRO DS)
# vi /etc/mail/sendmail.cf
# "Smart" relay host (may be null)
DSguardian.domain1.com

  • Decirle al SM que dominios son de entrega local
# cat /etc/mail/local-host-names 
domain1.net
domain2.com

  • Modificar el /etc/hosts y /etc/inet/ipnodes
# cat /etc/hosts
192.168.1.143 ouch    ouch.domain1.com domain1.com. loghost
192.168.1.239 guardian guardian.domain1.com
# cat /etc/inet/ipnodes
192.168.1.143 ouch    ouch.domain1.com domain1.com. loghost

  • Reiniciar Sendmail
# svcadm restart sendmail
